Three posts with anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian slogans suddenly appear on the US automaker’s X channel. Ford responds.

According to company statements, unknown individuals temporarily posted unauthorized content on US automaker Ford’s profile on the X platform. “Our X account was briefly compromised, and three posts were made that were not approved or published by Ford,” the company announced on its channel on Monday (local time). The now-deleted posts were pro-Palestinian and anti-Israeli, as shown by numerous screenshots from X users in the comments on Ford’s profile.

Ford further stated that the posts did not reflect the company’s views. Ford and X are investigating the incident. According to several media reports and comments from X users, the deleted posts read “Free Palestine,” “Israel is a terrorist state,” and “ALL EYES ON GAZA.” Who might have published these messages was initially unknown.

The automaker, headquartered in the US state of Michigan, has around 1.5 million followers on the X platform.
