Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte expand strategic alliance

Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte announce the global expansion of their strategic alliance to the EMEA and JAPAC regions. This will make Palo Alto Networks’ AI-powered cybersecurity solutions and joint offerings available to Deloitte clients worldwide.

The new agreement builds on the two companies’ long-standing collaboration to accelerate the adoption of cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions and help customers take full advantage of platformization and AI in cybersecurity.

Many organizations are struggling to manage a growing number of cybersecurity applications in a heterogeneous environment. This increases complexity and makes it difficult to achieve essential security outcomes. Bringing various isolated point solutions into a single integrated platform helps to overcome these limitations. This allows organizations to strengthen their cybersecurity posture while promoting operational efficiency. In the spirit of platformization, Deloitte has consolidated diverse point solutions by introducing Palo Alto Networks platforms for cloud and network security.

Deloitte will offer Palo Alto Networks’ security solutions across its network, cloud and security operations platforms. This includes:

• Cyber Detection & Response: This makes it easier for organizations to modernize their security operations based on Palo Alto Networks’ AI-powered Cortex XSIAM platform. Cortex XSIAM combines the functionalities of SIEM, SOAR and XDR to simplify operations and accelerate response to cyber threats. At the same time, it reduces technical complexity and increases operational efficiency. With its comprehensive intellectual property (IP) to unify the tech stack, adopt complex incident response playbooks, integrate with leading IT service management (ITSM) platforms, merge event logs and orchestration, Deloitte can help accelerate SOC modernization.
• Cloud security: The joint cloud security solutions that Palo Alto Networks and Deloitte introduced a year ago help customers to proactively protect their cloud-native applications and infrastructure. Deloitte brings in extensive industry knowledge to minimize risks and establish the “Shift-Left” strategy. Deloitte’s harmonized cloud security framework, operational workflows and AI-powered automation and orchestration capabilities are used to enhance the native functionalities of Palo Alto Networks Prisma Cloud.
• Zero Trust Adoption: This offering helps strategize, design, implement, operate and accelerate Zero Trust adoption by combining the Palo Alto Networks network security platform with Deloitte’s IP, workflow integrations and managed services.
