SNP Schneider-Neureither & Partner SE published its annual report for 2024 today. The company successfully continued its growth trajectory amid dynamic market development.
The main drivers for this were the flourishing partner business and the international expansion into new markets. Sales increased by 25% to € 254.8 million and EBIT improved disproportionately by 157% to € 28.6 million. The EBIT margin increased accordingly by 5.7 percentage points to 11.2%. Incoming orders grew by 17% to € 310.6 million, driven by all segments and regions.
Jens Amail, CEO of SNP, comments on the 2024 financial year: “Thanks to the fantastic work of our global team and the continued trust of our customers and partners, we were able to further increase our operational performance and achieve new record levels in all key financial indicators. All strategic focus areas successfully contributed to this: we grew disproportionately in the software area, further expanded our international presence, further developed our vision and took collaboration with our partner ecosystem to a new level. Thanks to the significant operational progress and the stability we have gained, SNP is currently in the strongest phase of our 30-year company history. On this basis, we see the partnership with Carlyle as a logical and necessary step to open the next chapter in SNP’s growth story – for the benefit of our customers and partners as well as all colleagues at SNP.”
Disproportionate growth
In the partner business, SNP recorded above-average growth with an increase in incoming orders of 46% to € 142.9 million (2023: € 98.0 million). At the same time, partner sales rose by 51% to € 96.3 million (2023: € 63.8 million). The service business recorded an increase in incoming orders of 8% to € 203.9 million and a 23% rise in sales to € 165.3 million. The software business grew even more strongly with a 37% increase in incoming orders to € 106.7 million and sales of € 89.4 million (+29% compared to 2023). The share of software sales in total sales thus rose to 35% (2023: 34%).
Andreas Röderer, CFO of SNP, comments: “Our strong development is based on several pillars: We are recording rising incoming orders across all segments and regions, our partner business is developing highly dynamically and our internationalization is progressing. Our operating cash flow is showing excellent development as a result of improvements in earnings and working capital management. We are convinced that we will be able to further increase sales and earnings in the current financial year.”
Outlook 2025
SNP anticipates positive business development for the 2025 financial year with continued positive industry development and a strong market position. Based on this, the company expects revenue to grow to between € 270 million and € 280 million (revenue 2024: € 254.8 million). At the same time, the operating result (EBIT) is expected to be in a range between € 30 million and € 34 million (EBIT 2024: € 28.8 million). A book-to-bill ratio (incoming orders/sales revenue) of more than one is still expected for incoming orders.
