Microsoft has unveiled a new quantum computer chip. According to the company, the chip, known as Majorana 1, is based on a new type of material called Topoconductor, which uses a previously unknown state of matter – neither solid nor liquid or gaseous, but a topological state.

"Recall"
Following criticism, Microsoft is introducing further restrictions for the Windows search function “Recall”, which is supposed to save screen recordings every few seconds. Among other things, “Recall” will not record passwords and credit card numbers, the Windows company announced.
New Azure tool
Microsoft has introduced a tool called “Correction”. This innovation, which is part of the Azure AI Studio, promises not only to detect errors in AI-generated content, but also to correct them automatically.
Partner companies are facing changes
Microsoft is planning a significant cut in its partner program: The popular Microsoft Action Pack and the Microsoft Learning Pack will be discontinued on 21 January 2025. This decision could have far-reaching consequences for many partner companies.
